welcome to regpack! now that you are an admin of your organization's regpack account, it's important you understand the basics of how regpack works we've compiled the top 7 things to know as you learn the regpack platform and manage your system video overview regpack project lifecycle from your first project, to your 100th project, regpack follows a basic life cycle to get new projects live and accepting registrations and payments understanding the project lifecycle in regpack regpack projects are designed to streamline your onboarding processes, from lead generation to customer onboarding and billing, structuring your projects will keep them organized for your organization’s infrastructure needs here’s an overview of the project lifecycle and how to manage each step effectively life cycle overview a “project” in regpack represents a unique registration system for a specific event, program, or purpose each project aligns with one registration cycle, defined by the user signing up for a specific activity or service example a retreat registration and a weekly class signup should be separate projects to avoid confusion and ensure better organization for both admins and users keeping cycles separate simplifies processes and ensures clarity across your system project creation starting a new project navigate to the bottom of the page and click on your project name select create new project to start a new registration system copying an existing project choose to create a project based on an existing one or use a preset template build process during the build process, you will design the backend of your project to suit your organization’s needs design the system choose the questions you want to ask users define the products and services users can select work primarily in the forms and product pages testing and review thoroughly test your system to ensure it works as intended use test users to simulate the registration process getting help if you are embed the project into your website change the system status to “open for registration and login ” regpack support once your project is live, the regpack support team becomes your primary resource for payment failures, system outages), tag your email as “time sensitive” or “urgent” in the subject line to expedite support use the filter feature to find users in the system how to change user information if you'd like to add information to a user's profile, click on the user in user management a side bar will appear and you can click on the forms tab, select the form, and answer or override responses on the forms how to change triggers triggers are one of the most powerful features in regpack you can trigger almost anything in the system to automate your existing processes and create a customized registration flow don't panic if a user comes to you with an issue often times "issues" brought to your attention by a customer are really just user error and not a system error the regpack support team is happy to look into the issue and help you determine the best way to move forward one mistake to avoid deleting information from your system if you're new to regpack, please
